Back From Nashville Brewer's Festival

We are back from Nashville Brewers Festival. This was a great event with a great crowd and tons of great breweries. Thanks to everyone who braved the heat and came by to say hello. It was good to see some familiar faces as well as to get to meet some new friends. Also a special thanks to everyone who helped with the event. We had a great time, and it was due to the organizers' and volunteers' efforts. Kudos and thanks again.
Well, here is a synopsis of the weekend: We left Birmingham afternoon with a Uhaul trailer slammed to the gills with our wares. We had multiple kegs, t-shirts, poster, stickers, tool boxes, you name we had it in there. I think that little Uhaul probably weighed close to a ton. So, after about three hours of pulling the brewery on wheels we finally arrived in Nashville. The Uhaul was so heavy we had to park it for the night still attached to the truck because we couldn't lift it off the trailer hitch. Next morning it was up and down to the park. The festival was held behind the Hilton Hotel in Downtown Nashville in front of the Country Music Hall of Fame. The event was very well organized, and it didn't take long to have our booth set up. We had a good crowd at our tent the whole day, actually better than we anticipated. Judging by the line at our tent we felt like everyone enjoyed the beer and Good People Brewing had another great festival. The event lasted until 8:00 p.m. and by 7:15 p.m. our kegs were dry. Running out of kegs is great not only because you feel that everyone enjoyed the beer, but also loading empty kegs is all day better than loading full or half full kegs. So, we are now back and ready to keep brewing. Our next festival is the Southern Brewers Festival in Chattanooga, TN on Saturday, August 23rd. We are expecting another good time and hope to see some of you there.
Be Good People!!
